The audio stopped working here, but it does work on lexaloffle.com. The pico-8 engine on that site is a bit newer, but I don’t know if it has anything to do with my issue.

my only thought that can sum up everything in this game was my first comment in each phase

Wow the game is fantastic ,i like the Music and i like the game art ,only thing i hated is the clone ,you could tweak it a bit to make it more fun, other then that the game is good and really fun!
people complaining about the clone is a skill issue tbh, that gimmick was fantastic, great game

not arguing against that, but how are people genuinely having trouble and complaining about a very very frustrating mechanic an example of skill issue?
like yeah it's pretty much beatable and all, but when the only few sections of the game anyone would actually die in are tied to one specific mechanic.. it's no wonder they won't be fond of it lmao.
you can still trudge through it without too much effort in the normal mode, but hard mode would definitely have you question why you're even taking the time.
yeah it came off as a little annoying didn't it? sorry. people were just bashing the creator for the difficulty, though. which is pretty annoying
I hate the clone. Its not the games fault, I just really hate having two characters onscreen, and the way they move in a mirror pattern for most games, its just not my thing.

Absolutely, I love the idea, it's great, but it's a case of simultaneous concentration on two sides of the same board and I completely struggle with multi-tasking like that... Currently on Stage 4, after 45 minutes mostly struggling with Stage 3...

idk why, i think i just have a flipping skill issue but I literally cannot make it past the part where the boss Clones himself and me, the main problem is the roses, I cant do it, i just prob have a skill issue
Yes it is, but after doing it for 3 hours straight at night it's possible! (Personal experience) :)
The roses almost always have a space that is right next to the space you're supposed to be in and in the beginning the roses almost always spawn with two spaces in the middle ( at least in my experience ).
I found the cards difficult initially, but when I found the right pattern it was just a case of juggling them with the coins which I hated the most in hard mode, because you have the area of effect aslong with blocking off areas that you may need to venture into later on...
